I have tutored students from many different backgrounds in various subjects and was a university lecturer for 3 years. With over 20 years' experience in the academic and business worlds, I specialize in helping adults prepare for exams that require advanced written and oral English, for example, the Cambridge English exams (FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS, European Union staff exams and job interviews, and the SAT, GRE, and GMAT exams. My students have included Chief Executive Officers, legal counsels, Members of the European Parliament, top level EU administrators and Belgian government speechwriters, translators and auditors. I gave up my job in the academic world because I did not like teaching classes of 300 students the same thing 3 times a week. I left the business world because I remembered that tutoring was more fun. I do not teach people aged under 18 except to prepare the SAT.
