Education

"Per aspera ad astra" Harvard, Yale, Princeton. These are the dream universities of the most ambitious students. The way to them is never easy, but it is also never impossible. The way to them is either through network or through powerful university applications, defined by strong standardized test scores, a meaningful extra-curricular portfolio, an inspiring interview and touching essays. Your child deserves the best. Whether they gifted with incredible mathematical abilities, an unparalleled skill with people or any other form of intelligence, there are simply factors in the admissions process that are impossible to know without experience. This lack of knowledge, can rob the most deserving candidates of their place. There are many things to consider. For instance, what things to study for the standardized tests, how to prepare not only academically, but strategically and emotionally. What kind of essay should I write? What kind of extra-circulars are an advantage? Who should I ask for recommendations? What other resources can I leverage to improve my odds? The answers to these questions, and many, many more, are all dependent on YOU. Each person will have a different answer to every question. I offer to you my skills and knowledge, gained through my own personal experience with the admissions process of the United States and through my experience aiding of many students from my home country, Lithuania. Students that I have helped in their admissions process have been admitted into the Ivy league schools on numerous occasions. I cannot promise to you that your son or daughter will be the next Albert Einstein, but I can promise that you will have a much easier time sleeping at night, knowing exactly what is going on with your child's future and know that your child is using all the resources they can.

Experience

Do you want someone who has ten diplomas or somebody who can teach very well? I have been teaching pupils for a number of years now. I have worked within the KAPLAN approved system, am familiar with their methodology and recommendations. I have had many pupils and have had thorough experience with pupils of different levels. Hobbies

I have been a tutor my entire life. I have two younger siblings, one 2 years younger, the other 8 years younger. It has been my job to help them with with anything academic or personal while I was growing up at home with them. Tutoring is an incredibly rewarding experience, particularly once you understand how a pupil learns. Some learn by example, some learn through theory, and some through guided independence. The best reward is the smile on a student's face when they realize exactly what is going on. My other interests are recent events, artificial intelligence, basketball and computer science.
